random update

Sooooo I get told I don't do this enough and as I've bored you all in my recent past with ranty splurges of splurgyness, I thought I'd give those of you interested an update.

Well here goes;

My car, is fixed *cheers and waves flags* it turned out it was the coil pack. Which is apparently the thing that controls all the electrics in the engine. It cost me a grand total of 185 gbp. It's a lot but it certainly wasn't anywhere near as much as I was expecting. It has hampered my Christmas plans though. :(

I've only been able to get gifts for certain folks in RL rather than all of them like normal. Online folks ha ha I'd already gotten all of yours by the end of November so at least that's something that wasn't spoilt. Only thing is, now I can't send stuffs out until after new year as due to fundage, ridiculous prices at the post office and Christmas mail rush, there's no way they'd reach you in time and there's also more chance of things getting lost forever, which I definitely do not want to risk.

So Christmas for you all is extended until the end of January 2011. I DECREE IT!

Anyway work:

Ohh groans and boredom I can hear. Well no actually, after whinging and whining it to well just about everyone, my boss pulls me into his office at the end of today and filled me in on the latest details of the project for my company. We're a pharmaceutical company (sorry!), and we're aiming to become FDA compliant, a project which I'll be stepping out of my job role to do for 18 months. Supposed to be good for the career and all that. Anyway, he pulled me into his office and told me plans are now in motion. We're entering talks on Tuesday with the IT guy about our computer systems, revamping them entirely getting a new one to replace it. And I'm going to be working on that.

So hopefully *crosses fingers and toes* I'll start being busy again come January! :)

I've almost cleared my nasty mild flu thingy and I'm now just suffering a cough. Other people aren't doing so great, wingzbot  you better get well soon *frets* same goes to you antepathy . *hands out blankets and hot water bottles and tea for all the sickies out there*

It's 9 days until Christmas apparently so rachieb1807   tells me.... OMG.... there's just not enough time for everything. What am I doing even writing this??

Yeah, I'm officially extending Christmas as well. Kitty-illness issues really ate into my gift-funds. :C

Seems like things might be slightly looking up.

I am also suffering from a crappy cough that won't go away. Just hoping this means I will be germ free by Christmas. :)

Those are almost exactly my thoughts! :) I had a coughing fit on the way to work today and then nearly fell asleep O_O at the wheel no less v_v stupid cough wearing me out.

Yeeeey ficcies!! Are we eating out for lunch on Saturday? :) I know I'm lazy to ask here lol

i had already extended winter holiday-ing into january! possibly even february, depending on how money looks. (and on whether or not i manage to get the gifts all made up by then.)

I vote for extending the season, too. Life's been a bit overwhelming lately. But hurray for the car costing less than you thought it might, even if it's still a large sum.
