TFA Prowl/Optimus, they both discuss somewhen in season 3 why they can understand each other so much OR

after Prowl gained enlightment in 'Five Servos of Doom', Optimus feels he would only tarnish his friend / he isn't "appropriate" anymore to him - Prowl disagrees
